(IPC 2020, 7th – 8th December 2020)
The rapid rise of COVID-19 around the world has severely affected the normalcy of life for all of us. Therefore, keeping the health and well being of the participants in mind, the organizing committee has decided to shorten and reschedule IPC 2019 to a 2-day online conference to be held on 7th and 8th December 2020, under a new and appropriate title- ‘IPC 2020’. IPC 2020 will be jointly held with ICCEPM 2020 (http://www.iccepm2019.com/) to enrich the online sessions to be more fruitful to the conference participants. The conference will have eminent keynote speakers and paper presentations from authors from various countries as announced originally. The participants of IPC 2020 will have access to the keynote speeches and parallel sessions of both the conferences held jointly. To ensure a pleasant conference experience, the presentation times will be shortened, the details of which will be posted shortly.
The accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings as announced originally. We will charge a reduced registration fee of 800 HKD (Please refer to the Registration page for further details) to cover the paper handling and online conference organisation costs. The registration link will be activated on the conference website soon. We will also intimate the authors personally through their registered emails.
We appreciate the authors for submitting original research manuscripts and supporting IPC 2019. We understand that some participants may be busy with prior engagements during the rescheduled conference dates. Therefore, we will provide an option to withdraw registered papers and receive a full refund of the registration fee. The authors who have registered earlier will also be refunded the balance amount as per the new registration fee.
The organizing committee is currently planning the online conference and will provide all the essential details regarding the conference soon. Please look for our announcements on the conference website.
We urge that you accept our apologies for causing any inconvenience to you. We regret the missed opportunity to host you in Hong Kong and interact with you in person. We hope that we will get to meet you in person soon when the world is back to normal again.
If you have any additional queries about the rearrangement or anything related to the conference, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
